Micron Waste Technologies Inc. Announces Results of Shareholder’s Meeting

VANCOUVER, BC – (August 31, 2017) – Micron Waste Technologies Inc. (the “Company”) is pleased to announce the results from its annual general and special meeting of shareholders held on August 30, 2017 (the “Meeting”).  The Company reports that all items that were set out in the Notice of the Meeting and Information Circular, dated August 16, 2017, were duly passed at the AGM, including the Company’s proposed amalgamation with Finore Mining Inc. (“Finore”). The Company is pleased that shareholders representing approximately 78.2% of the outstanding common shares were present at the meeting in person or by proxy. All proxies were voted in favour of all items of business and accordingly the special resolution to approve the amalgamation with Finore was passed, with no votes against.

“We are extremely pleased with the impressive turnout of shareholders who have voiced their strong support for management and the direction of the Company. We look forward to a pivotal year in 2018 as we ramp up development and production of our innovative organic waste digesters” said Alfred Wong, President of Micron Waste Technologies.

Additionally, at the Meeting, shareholders elected the following persons to serve as directors of the Company for the ensuing year: Kulwant Malhi, Rauni Malhi, Alfred Wong, Bharat (Bob) Bhushan and Cameron Battley.  Shareholders also approved the reappointment of Smythe LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants as auditors of the Company.
